The Mwanza University Library is managed by experienced and professional staff to provide services to support teaching and learning, ebooks, and research at the University Library.The University collection comprises printed reading materials such as books and periodicals, which are relevant and demand driven. It also includes electronic information resources and Internet facilities that include a range of electronic journals and health databases and websites in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Records and Medical Laboratory.The Library has wireless internet service for other electronic equipment to access learning materials (Digital Library) to ensure staff and students are getting reliable internet all the time.

Electronic Library Materials:
Electronic Library materials can be accessible any time all days (including Sunday and Public Holidays) through the Library Access Point. The password for this internet will be provided to all users through Library Noticeboard. Additionally, it can be reached from any point within the University.
